villain 02:24
I feel like a villain Watching myself talk I know that my tone’s off Can’t help that my tone’s off I feel like a villain Trying to stand tall But it just comes across Uncomfortable Now I know how dirty felt when dirty built the tomb Now I know how early felt when light obscured the moon Now I know how worthy felt when worthy filled a room Now I know how dirty felt when dirty built the tomb Sorry for scheming I default to thinking Everyone hates me It’s just a delusion
2.
queer 03:05
Honestly, I want you to know me Everything’s a dream when you’re queer Maybe I was wrong, growing into some Villain of the world that wronged you Maybe I still got some free will Growing in a world that wronged you, yeah Oh, It’s only fear Nothing truer than that I know when it’s real

about

While writing these songs I was thinking about queer-coded villains in tv/film/etc. LGBTQ people often gravitate towards these types of characters bc they deviate from societal norms // their failure is somehow linked with their queerness. I'm also a failure and I like music
